Another monastic virtual library project: Lorsch
While Reichenau and St. Gall were major scriptoria in the eastern Frankish kingdoms, they were certainly not the only important scriptoria. The monastery of Lorsch was also an important center for Carolingian book production and thanks to the new virtual library project, Bibliotheca Laureshamensis digital, its manuscripts are now being virtually gathered from their various libraries around the world and available for study on line.

Aug 111 description now available
Aug 111 contains an interesting mix of texts, including exegetical manuals by Eucherius of Lyons and Junilius, an Old High German glossary, and two Carolingian visions of the afterlife, in particular Heito's Visio Wettini.
